Our 9 yr. old chocolate lab Hunter is beating Osteosarcoma, is a Tripawd, and is on Nature’s Variety raw diet, chicken. He takes K9 Immunity with Transfer Factor as well as Artemisinin. We also give him blended green veggies on his food. Arthrisoothe Gold for his muscles and joints, Complete Probiotics for Pets and a Chinese herb for his liver round out his supplements. We will be adding Butyrex and Artemix very soon with extra Vitamin C and E.

My nine year old lab Charlie was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in March. I make his food using recipes in ‘Dr. Becker’s Real Food for Healthy Dogs and Cats‘. Charlie takes many supplements, the protocol changing when he is going through chemotherapy. We are undergoing our second cycle of chemo since lung mets have developed. Some of our supplments are: Joint Support, OncoPlex, Petsiac, Xue Fu Zhu Yu Tang, Cellular Forte, Ubiquinol, Krill Oil, Cytozyme, EFAC+, Acetyl L-Carnitine, Bone Meal, and a custom vitamin mineral mix from Dr Becker’s book.
Chuy does not have cancer, but he is a Tripawd. He eats grain free Salmon and sweet potato food as he is Chow/Newfie/Husky mix and research shows that is the best diet for his breeds. He also gets Glucosamine/Chondrotin with MSM every day to help the arthritis he has in his front leg.

AHA! Question showed up this time. So sorry 🙁 OKAY SO!
1)My dog does not have any type of cancer, he is a rear legged tripawd that had traumatic circumstances and had to have his leg amputated about 2 1/2 weeks ago.. We just got him as soon as his stitches came out.
2)We give him various supplements that have been given us by his vet so he can grow stronger. Mostly for Bone health and skin. His diet is a young adult formula mix and various greens from our farmer’s market.
Our 14 year old mixed breed has osteosarcoma and is a recent tripawd. He is on a number of supplements including a mushroom mix from his doc, fish oil, vitamin A and D and multi-vit mix.
Jack doesn’t have cancer; he had his amputation done due to a crooked leg that could not be fixed. 🙂
At this point in time, we don’t use too many supplements. He eats a grain-free dog food with raw meaty bones as often as possible, as well as getting occasional green tripe, raw goats milk, and plain yogurt. He receives a fish oil pill in the evenings as a ‘reward’ for going to bed.
I have, however, been very intrigued by a lot of recent developments in products like Dogtorx and whatnot and have been considering trying them.

We have 4 Shelties…Cody (6), Shyla (3), Shelby (3), and Sheldyn (3-4?) Luckily no cancer; however, when we rescued Sheldyn he was still growing his fur back from an amputation which we believe was due to a car accident. I had no previous experience with a Tripawd but he is truly AMAZING and is all HEART! Being a tripawd has not stopped him from chasing the ever evasive birds (and the moon and stars at night). He has truly opened my eyes to the world of tripawds.
We feed Fromm dog food along with daily salmon oil and multivitamin along with a spoonful of pumpkin for a treat. I have also used seameal supplements.
